Railay Beach is one of the famous exotic beaches located in Andaman Coast of Thailand, in Krabi Province. It has beautiful beaches and quite relaxing atmosphere.
The peninsula is surrounded by limestone cliffs which makes it primarily known as a rock climbing hot spot in the world. Getting to Railay beach is accessible only by boat due to high cliffs cutting off the mainland access.
Railay is a small town that consists of four primary areas such as Phra Nang, West Railay, East Railay, and Ton Sai. The East Railay is the docking point for boats arriving from Krabi and not advisable for swimming or sunbathing. Phra Nang, is an average beach in Railay with white sand and can get crowded and busy. West Railay, has fine sand and shallow water. The cove around the corner from West Railay is the Ton Sai, it is where rock climbers and backpackers
