Phra Nang Beach was recently voted as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. It is accessible only by boat along the Andaman Sea in Railay, Thailand.
Visitors can do lots of things in Phra Nang Beach. They can enjoy kayaking and wander through caves and lush lagoons hidden in the many sandstone karst formations located off the shore. For adventure seekers, rock climbing lessons are available. It is also a great place to spend a lazy day, just lie there and soak in the sun.
There is a shrine built inside the limestone cave called the “Phra Nang Cave.” Boatmen and foshermen leaves their offerings to the cave to ensure safe travel on the sea. Interestingly, the cave is covered with phallic-shaped statues, decorated with colorful cloth.
